Monthly Machiavelli: August

...and the award for 'Outstanding Political Acumen' goes to:

Hillary Clinton!
Why she won: There are several reasons why Hillary deserves the award this month.

For one, a little over a month ago, I declared that I would never vote for Mrs. Clinton no matter what party nominated her. Since that time, her poise in debates, a recalculation on my part on her possibilities of winning, sound political maneuvers, and some self-destructions by rival candidates have moved me from considering voting for her and even leaning towards a vote for her.

In debates, and there have been many of them, Hillary has shined as a politician with skills above the rest. I was surprised by this considering that she had never engaged in a competitive debate previously. She is now the obvious front runner among both parties and is accumulating a small fortune in campaign donations...
The next president?

Ok, so first off, you dont know jack about the ppc architecture. There was a reason to rethink chip architecture at least once since the 70's. A separate code, and memory space are just a good idea. Its inherently less prone to buffer overflow attacks.

You are so full of it. The reason macs dont have viruses is imply because no one cares. How many terrorist attacks has Canada suffered this year (or any year for that matter) the best way to avoid attacks is to not be important enough to care about.

Oh yeah, and without a market, no amount of "good design" can overcome lack of process engineering. The bottom line is that intel won, AND makes faster chips. the proof is in the pudding (delicious silicon pudding mind you) Even apple uses intel.

Ok, first off, if macs aren't worth caring about, why on earth did you waste all your precious time typing your ""amazing responses? I would think your ""super important ""job would be a much more valuable way to pass the hours in your parent's basement. (editor comment- I love the use of quotes in this entry, it was written in the manner of someone who is actually using their hands to indicate quotes, which of course is ALWAYS wrong. Also, there are much better ways to enforce the ways of sarcasm on the world. VOTE FOR BUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Secondly, Don't you find it odd, that when microsoft went shopping for chips in an entirely new platform, not legacy PC, but something altogether like the world had yet to see, the XBOX 360, it chose to use PPC? Amazing that they would choose to take such a huge step backwards when platform compatibility was no longer an issue. Face the music, the PPC platform IS better, if the world didnt have 15 years of legacy ppc code stuck up their A**es we'd all be running on IBM iron. OH NO! what do you mean I cant continue using my Okidata dot matrix printer on my new 4000 dollar super beast. Its time to suck it up and let go people, you dont get something for nothing.

Hmmm...this is a bit of a mystery.

By my count there are 3 different authors using the name David...

and none of them make any sense, really.
